What is YIN YOGA?
A soft, gentle style of hatha yoga informed by Chinese Daoist practices, with a focus on the meridians and proper alignment. The poses are passively held for 1 to 5 minutes to help strengthen joints, ligaments, and fascial tissues. A yin yoga sequence is suitable for beginners or people recovering from muscle injuries as can help your body stretch, lengthen, and recover from stress and workouts. Also, Yin Yoga is a popular form of Yoga to RESTORE/ UNWIND your energies after a long day/ week/hectic projects. Our workshops blend ancient Yogic science and Affirmations to create rich, holistic themes relevant for wellness in the modern world.
