I found Punam through her website and attended her one to one Alignment Yoga session. Her flexibility in timings suited me. I am a regular gym person but the one hour and 15 minute session was amazing! Punam guided me throughout, asked me what I expected and I enjoyed the way she adjusted my body from one pose to another. I felt safe and taken care of. The Sun Salutation sequence was very aerobic and while the breathing exercises in the beginning were new to me, I felt my lungs expand as I took deep inhales and I let go of negativity in the strong outbreaths. I am grateful to Punam for an exciting introduction to Yoga. I look forward to attending her Yoga Specialist workshops where I can spend more time to deepen my understanding and practice of Yoga.

Wellness Coach and Yoga Teacher

Punam Sharma brings extensive hands on expertise in a variety of wellness tools and techniques. Punam is a Hatha and Vinyasa Yoga Teacher (RYT 500 hours), Kidding Around Yoga (KAY) Certified Teacher, Mindfulness Faciltator, Wellness Coach, NLP Practitioner, Corporate Trainer, Holistic Therapist. Reiki Master and a Singer.

A yoga practitioner over 15 years, in 2015 she trained as an accredited Yoga Teacher completing 500 hours of yoga training in classical style of Yoga – Hatha Yoga and the Vinyasa Flow Yoga along with specialist knowledge of Yoga Philosophy, Ayurveda, Yogic diets, Meditations, Kriyas, Bandhas and Mudras.

She considers herself very fortunate to receive this training in India from a school which followed authentic Yoga principles and practices. She is registered with Yoga Alliance and has been teaching one to one yoga and group yoga classes since 2015. As the Founder of Yoga Wellness Studio, she brings her innate style of connecting easily with people, a deep sense of personal conviction and understanding of the benefits of all the tools offered and delivering them in a fun and joyous way.
