ASHTANGA WELLNESS WORKSHOPS 2022-exploring the 8 Limbs of Yoga. Series 1 – Yamas and Niyamas to enhance your life energies!

Suitable for those who have completed our 8 weeks Foundations of Yoga Programme or those of you who have been in regular Yoga practice for at least six months. This workshop will further your knowledge and expose you to the practical understanding with respect to Patanjali’s Eight Limbs of Yoga. You will practice a blend of Yoga Asanas and Mindful Meditation to inspire a creative and confident self-practice for advancement into higher levels of Yoga Lifestyle with heightened Self-Awareness. What to Expect? This workshop is focused on building strength in your body, mind, and emotions. We will focus on strengthening your Legs, Hips and Wrists – the stable foundation you need to carry you forward in life with Confidence, Clarity, and Calm. We will help you integrate the correct ALIGNMENT of Hatha/ Vinyasa Sun Salutation Postures, Warrior Poses, Balance poses, Hip openers, and Core Strengthening. You will learn Variations and Modifications of each pose thereby creating Body- Mind Awareness. You will become more conscious of the Science behind Yoga. We will teach you the techniques to increase your resilience with Yoga Wellness Tools of Asana, Breathwork, Meditation, Mantras, and Mudras. The workshop will be divided into 6 sessions:- Tuning Inwards ( Mindfulness Meditation to Release/ Detox )
- Intro to Ashtanga Yamas and Niyamas/ Goal setting
- Standing warm-up routine
- Yoga Practice ( Hatha/ Vinyasa Sun Salutations + Asanas as above, including demo/practice)
- Yoga Nidra ( Total Relaxation)
- Dynamic Meditation at the end will revitalize your entire being as you will release ‘blocked energies’ in a process of movement and dance and experience FREEDOM along with a vibrant group of like-minded Yogis !
